This Privacy Policy explains how Arhum Connect ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you use our website or engage us for software development, app development, iOS development, graphic designing, 3D animation or video editing services (the "Services"). By using our website or Services, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Contact details you provide, such as name, business name, email address and phone/WhatsApp number, when you fill our contact form or message us.
• Project information you share to scope and deliver work — briefs, brand assets, source files, credentials needed for integration, and feedback during revisions.
• Payment details needed to invoice and receive payment, handled via standard payment channels rather than stored on this website.
• Technical data such as browser type and general usage of our website, collected automatically to keep the site working correctly.

2. How we use information

• To scope, quote and deliver the Services you request.
• To communicate about project timelines, revisions and support.
• To invoice and process payments.
• To improve our website and internal processes.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use project materials for anything beyond delivering the Services, unless you separately agree to let us showcase the work.

3. Confidentiality

Project briefs, source files and business information shared with us are treated as confidential. We're happy to sign a formal NDA before any project details are discussed, on request.

4. Communicating with us on WhatsApp

We offer WhatsApp as an optional, convenient way to reach us — via the "Chat on WhatsApp" links on our website or by messaging our business number directly. Our use of WhatsApp follows WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy:

• You start the conversation. We only message you on WhatsApp because you contacted us first (by chatting with us or submitting our contact form), or because you separately agreed to be contacted about a project.
• No unsolicited messaging. We do not send marketing broadcasts, promotional blasts, or add your number to WhatsApp messaging lists without your clear consent.
• What we use it for. Messages exchanged on WhatsApp are used only to respond to your enquiry, discuss your project and provide support — the same purposes described in Section 2.
• Meta's role. WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. Any message you send us over WhatsApp is also transmitted and processed through WhatsApp's own systems, subject to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy, in addition to this policy.
• Opting out. You can stop the conversation and ask us to delete your WhatsApp contact details at any time — see Section 8 (Your rights).

5. Sharing of information

• Service providers: hosting, cloud storage, payment processors and communication tools (including WhatsApp/Meta, for messages you send us there) we use to run our business, bound to protect your data.
• Platform stores: where a project involves publishing an app, limited information may need to be shared with Apple's App Store or Google Play as part of submission — this is done with your knowledge and involvement.
• Legal requirements: where we're required to disclose information to comply with the law.

We do not sell or rent personal information or project data to third parties.

6. Data retention

We retain project files and communication (including WhatsApp conversation history relevant to your enquiry or project) for as long as needed to deliver the Services and provide agreed post-launch support, or as required for accounting/legal purposes, after which it is deleted or archived securely.

7. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data and files we handle. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but access is limited to the people working on your project.

8. Your rights

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Ask us to delete your data, subject to legal or contractual retention needs.
• Withdraw consent for optional communications, including on WhatsApp, at any time.

9. Third-party platforms

Where a project is published to the App Store, Google Play, or any third-party platform, or where you contact us via WhatsApp, that platform's own privacy practices apply to how they process data — this policy covers only what Arhum Connect collects and handles directly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
