Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Arhum Connect website and our software development, app development, iOS development, graphic designing, 3D animation and video editing services (the "Services"). By using our website or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Arhum Connect is an independent software house and design studio based in Islamabad, Pakistan, offering software development, app & iOS development, graphic designing, 3D animation and video editing.

2. The Services

• Custom software development (web apps, dashboards, business systems).
• Cross-platform and native Android app development.
• Native iOS app development.
• Graphic designing — branding, logos, UI and marketing creatives.
• 3D animation and product/motion visualization.
• Video editing and post-production.

Where a project is submitted to a third-party platform (e.g. App Store, Google Play), final review and approval rests solely with that platform. Arhum Connect prepares and submits builds correctly but cannot guarantee approval outcomes or timelines set by the platform.

3. Project scope & revisions

• Each project starts with a written scope and quote. Work outside that scope is treated as a change request and quoted separately.
• A reasonable number of revision rounds is included per milestone, as agreed at the start of the project; additional rounds may be billed.
• Delivery timelines assume timely feedback and content/assets from the client; delays on the client's side may shift the final delivery date.

4. Payments

• Projects are billed in milestones agreed before work begins, typically including an upfront deposit.
• Final source files, code and assets are delivered once the final milestone payment is received in full.
• Fees already paid for completed milestones are non-refundable, except where required by law.

5. Ownership & intellectual property

• Upon full payment, ownership of the final deliverables (source code, design files, video/3D assets) created specifically for your project transfers to you.
• Arhum Connect retains the right to reuse general know-how, reusable code components and non-confidential techniques developed during the engagement.
• You are responsible for ensuring any content, brand assets or third-party material you provide to us does not infringe someone else's rights.

6. Confidentiality

We treat project details, briefs and business information as confidential, and will sign a mutual NDA before discussing project specifics on request.

7. Communication on WhatsApp

• WhatsApp is offered purely as a convenience channel for enquiries, quotes and project communication — you're never required to use it, and email works just as well.
• In line with WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy, we only message you on WhatsApp in response to a conversation you started or with your prior consent — never unsolicited marketing or bulk messages.
• WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. and use of it is also subject to WhatsApp's own Terms of Service, separate from these Terms.
• Project confirmations, quotes or approvals exchanged over WhatsApp are treated with the same weight as email for the purposes of scoping and sign-off, unless a formal signed document is required.

8. Client responsibilities

• Provide accurate project requirements, brand assets and timely feedback.
• Provide necessary accounts/access (e.g. app store developer accounts, hosting) where required for delivery or publishing.
• Comply with applicable laws, including any regulations relevant to your industry or region.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arhum Connect is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Services, including third-party platform rejections, except where caused by our own negligence or breach of these Terms.

10. Termination

Either party may end an engagement in line with the terms agreed at signup. Work completed up to the point of termination is billable per the agreed milestone schedule.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
